Speaker icon (OSD volume) is too big. #301
Comments
vkareh from #mate told me that stuff is here: |
@MarioMey - Thanks for reporting this, what theme are you using? Also, what is the resolution of your monitor, and are you using HiDPI or not? |
It looks like BlueMenta with mate-icon theme. Here in f30 the icon is a little bit smaller. Edit: and i am missing a link to a a debian report to inform debian Mate Maintainer |
@vkareh Yes, it's BlueMenta with mate-icon theme. 1920x1080 and I don't use HiDPI. @raveit65 You say that 1.22 should have a different behaviour? Can I install it in this system? Sorry about ignoring the "Link to downstream report of your Distribution" part, I really don't understand what it means. I looked for other reports with Google and most of them has not completed that. Should I report this bug also to Debian devs? edit: not |
This is current Speaker icon.
I think it is too big, and size is fixed. There is
org.mate.SettingsDaemon.plugins.media-keys enable-osd
to hide it, but there's no size/scale options. It would be nice to exist. Maybe to option to change the icon too... or it is so much to ask for?MATE general version
1.20.4
Package version
Linux Distribution
Debian Buster - Mate desktop
