In the default HTML at https://mapzen.com/common/styleguide/ we suggest <div class="col-md-8 col-md-offset-2">, but it should be more like <div class="col-md-12 col-md-offset-2"> or similar to be full-width. @thisisaaronland mentioned running into this.
