How can I hide the following Sensor from my Dashboard?

If I just change its settings to be invisible, then I have no events in my Calendar. Please help.

I don't quite understand your issue. It looks like it's not in your dashboard but just in the device view of the WCS component. You cannot remove it from there, this is the calendar entity. But if you add this card to your dashboard, you can modify this card and remove this entity from this card

You can click on it, then klick the gear-symbol. THERE you can set the visibility.

This is the problem - when I click on the gear symbol and hide it, it does disappear from my dashboard but it also is then gone from the calendar. I suppose it's something easy to fix but I can't find a solution.

oh... my knowledge isn't well. Maybe to create the sensor (as a new one) for the calendar ?

I couldn't figure out if you can remove entries from these automatically updating default dashboard. If you have a use self customized dashboard you can just remove it. You can create a new dashboard to test stuff. If you want your default dashboard to a self customized dashboard you can press the edit button in the dashboard, then the 3 dots -> take control:

In this custom dashboard, you can add/remove everything you like

AND: do not change the original. Make a new standard-dashboard, and take control of that. Don't touch the original !
