Issues with the Clipboard?

I'm unable to get the Clipboard function to work. Specifically, the y y command to copy current URL. The alternate commands to paste in new window and whatnot seem to work fine.

I'm using the Brave browser, and I did enable access to file extensions.

What am I doing wrong?

This seems to be an issue withe Copy Current URL functionality specifically. I have the same issue on Firefox that it fails to work most of the time, regardless of the keybinding involved. Sometimes it works, but usually not.
