Some experiments measure multiple data types (e.g., cover, biomass, basal cover, canopy absolute cover) and we need to just pick one so they are independent.

CPER Carax data from Lauren Porensky has basal cover and canopy absolute cover. We have decided to keep canopy absolute cover because it is more comparable to other grassland studies

Royo west viriginia Fernow dataset had both cover and number for each of their taxa, but we are keeping number because its more complete (across all years vs cover is only in two years)
