I have a folder where all my local *.gguf files are in. (in my case it is the folder "J:\GGUFs")

I set in LM Studio 0.3.9 the models directory to "J:\GGUFs".

result: also after a restart of LLM Studio of after refreshing the models, not a single model is found or loaded.

expected result: LM Studio finds the GGUFs and load them

bug: LM studio only loads the models if the GGUF is within a certain folder structure. For example that it finds the model "test.gguf" it must be in the folder that is 2 levels below the model directory. For example the test.gguf file must be in a folder
"J:\GGUFs\All\test"
or
"J:\GGUFs\All\All2"
or whatever as long as its folder is 2 levels below "J:\GGUFs"

If the GGUF is in the folder
"J:\GGUFs"
it is not found and also if it is in a folder only 1 level below like e.g.
"J:\GGUFs\All"

The point is that as user I want one central folder for the big GGUFs and use them with different software, not only exclusively with LM Studio.

Which version of LM Studio?
LM Studio 0.3.9

Which operating system?
Windows
