Has this plugin been abandoned?

The last commit to master was in November 2019, over 500 days ago.

The last couple of VSCode releases have broken the plugin, and while there are currently workarounds documented on issues such as #919, this may not always be possible.

I'd like to request a status update from @liximomo or any other maintainers on the future direction of the plugin. That way, if it's considered abandoned, efforts can be made to fork/maintain it elsewhere.

There have been planes made here: #875
But it seems like this person has recently deleted there account and rep. Probably was overrun with requests after this one crashed

I would assume this rep. is abandoned as well, so if anyone is interesed in forking it I would be willing to assist.

I just made a fork to fix issue with the plugin that I encountered. bthompson90 accepted my PR into his branch, but after some time deleted his GitHub account with that repo?

I will try to maintain my fork of SFTP as I actively use this plugin, but any PRs are more than welcome. I can't fix all issues myself.
