Just got Viewpoint working and copied the Loader and Floppy drive icons like the manual says to do. When i open the loader and try to run the document editor i get an error saying:
'Operation failed: The application depends on another application which is not running (Keyboards)'
What does this mean and how do i fix it.

(Also trying to view a file (like the single help file included by default) causes the error: 'VP document editor not loaded, Icon can not be opened')

Is there anywhere i can get help for this?

Open up the Loader, you should see a list of programs -- find the program(s) that need to be started, highlight them, and click "Run."

Also, you didn't specify that you'd actually installed any software using the floppy drive and the loader -- has this been done?

I have not installed any programs and this keyboards program is not in the loader. (I also went through all the disks and couldn't find anything that sounded like the keyboards software.)

Which set of disks did you use? The Viewpoint 2.0.6 set on Bitsavers should have all you need.

I used the Viewpoint 2.0.6 disks on bitsavers.

Everything you need to produce a complete running system is on those disks, I suggest you give it another try. Maybe re-read the installation manual to see if you missed anything.

I have got it to work. Thanks for your help.

Also is it possible to create blank floppy disk images for the emulator?
