Ubuntu's Quantum Espresso package pw.x is broken with some sort of buffer overflow errors, perhaps as of ubuntu 24 https://gitlab.com/QEF/q-e/-/issues/684, and conda's fails because it can't find an mpi library (libmpi_mpifh.so.40 ?), and we want a serial version anyway.

Need some other way to install it for testing purposes.
