Retrieve tasks from Things > Today

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I use Things to collect and schedule tasks. It would be really helpful if this plugin could be configured to retrieve the tasks scheduled for a given date ("today", "next Monday", 2021-08-24, etc.) and paste them as tasks in the correct Daily Note. This would make it not only functional for archiving past tasks (Logbook), but also for working on active tasks and planning future ones.

This could be implemented by an entry in Obsidian's command palette that specifies the date to retrieve.
