I have a folder with flat files in it. Call it xyz and the domain is xyz.test. It was working in Laragon 7 before upgrading to Laragon 8.0.0.
Out of about a dozen existing projects, xyz.test is not added to the Trust store certificate, no matter what I try.
I deleted the xyz project, stopped Laragon and then added the xyz folder again with the same project files. When I start Laragon it detects it but it still won't add the domain to the Trust store certificate.
I made a copy of the project in xyz-6 (xyz-6.test) and that domain is added to the Trust store certificate.
I deleted all the files in /etc/ssl/ except for the cacert.pem and then added a new quick add project and it added the xyz-6.test domain to the Trust store certificate, but Laragon failed to add another existing project (pdq.test).
I replaced the /usr/tpl/openssl.conf.tpl with one from a fresh install and again deleted all the files in /etc/ssl/, except cacert.pem. Then I created a new blank project.
All the domains were successfully added to the Trust store certificate this time.
