Greetings!

First of all, thank you very much for making these Lutris scripts! ^_^

If I may, I'd like to request a variant installer for Heretic II, specifically for the re-release under the "Xplosiv" (sic) brand.

I've tried the two scripts that you provide, but alas, it seems that they expect a specific directory-structure that my release doesn't match. As a result, they cancel the process.

Here below you should find a listing of the file-structure that I have:
fileListing.txt

As you can see, this is one of those versions that contains "setup.exe", rather than "h2_setup.exe"--but while it has the "Heretic.ico" (or rather, "heretic.ico") file that the script looks for, that file is in a different location!

(It's in "bin/", rather than "setup/"; further, it doesn't share its directory with "setup.exe", which is in the base directory. It does share its directory with "demo32.exe" and "autorun.exe", however.)

Would it be feasible to put together a version that would work with this file-structure...?

My thanks for your time!

Hello,
thank you for your report, could you tell me where you downloaded this Heretic II version?
Are you sure it is an official version?
Which language?

Thank you for the response! ^_^

As to language: English.

As to the copy: I didn't download it: I bought an actual physical copy, admittedly second-hand. (And thus am pretty sure that it's legit; it's just one of those old budget re-releases.)

(According to Wikipedia, "Xplosiv" was a budget line from Empire Interactive.)

I then ripped it to a bin/cue disc-image, and have been installing from that.

See the photos below of the box in which I bought it:
