Description
Relates to #556

  1. Have a dummy otlp output which is available on the development release only
  • adjust "make manifest" target to remove otlp output definition for regular release
  • no detailed sub-structure needed for now
  • when activated, have a dummy log to indicate activation
  1. If the otlp output is selected in a pipeline, fluentbit gets not deployed/cleaned up (mixed case still possible), but also no otel-collector for now
  • Have the main switch in place, deciding on otel-collector deployments (otlp) or fluentbit (http, custom)
  • It should be clear where to put follow-up code
