Hi,
Im using below versions to build and deploy operator. Operator running perfectly and the controller/reconcilation working perfectly fine. But if there is a reconcilation / CR creation failure happens, the controller_runtime_reconcile_errors_total metric value is still coming as 0, error count is not increasing accordingly. Where as other metrics of controllers are properly getting updated.

operator-sdk version: "v1.34.2", commit: "81dd3cb24b8744de03d312c1ba23bfc617044005", kubernetes version: "1.28.0", go version: "go1.21.10", GOOS: "linux", GOARCH: "amd64"

Thanks
Umapathy
