How to pass sorted result to dynamic table?

While debug-log[] says result is properly sorted, the dynamic table still shows unsorted content, why?

I am not at desk and will check to see the reason!
But, dynamic table read from fields/indexes and when sort those field has to return literal value or calculated (wikified) ones. It wont process fields with wikitext contents

I had a quick check. Your fields are title tags these are not calculated value and they store literal value! So I expect Dynamic Table sort works fine. I did some tests on https://kookma.github.io/TW-Shiraz/
Also I tagged the test tiddler with $:/tags/SideBar all work as expected.

Are you sort it by click on column title? That works, but I hope I can provide "initial sorted value", just sort them using filter (I need to use sortsub filter operator, so can't be done by click on title)

Do you mind to use state tiddler to save the sort status? You know the sorting data is saved in state tiddler:

the sortby tiddler e.g. $:/state/dynamictables/YourStateTiddler/sortby save the sorting status. The bad news is such tiddlers are not saved on Node.JS

Even use state tiddler, It may not be possible to sort by sortsub:integer<compareByPriority> where

Not for sortsub.

But based on your sortsub, I assume you are sorting the Task by priority, if so see

and note how I sorted by priority. It actually use numbers in priority field, but the tabel uses a column template to show priority bases on very low, low, high, ...
