A URL that cannot be played

In this example, Kodi can't play M3U8 videos with 404 error that the m3u8 file is hidden. but MPC-HC can play it.

This pattern of the server is intentional.
I'm not comparing MPC-HC to Kodi, I'm just stating the fact that MPC-HC can play m3u8 videos in this mode.
Is it possible to find out the reason why it cannot be played, and if you fix the problem, it can be played normally?

Did you try changing the user agent?

I've tried changing the user agent with my browser.
The owner of the website doesn't want the browser to get the real m3u8 address, so only use the IPTV player, I don't know what player he uses.

Does the URL work for playback in VLC?

It might just be that the server blocks certain user agents.

Maybe post a full debug log and I can look to see if there is more information there that can help.

我也遇到这个报错，我用vlc能打开，但是一样的m3u地址在simpleiptv上就报错

I also encountered this error. I can open it with VLC, but the same M3U URL gives an error on simpleiptv.
