Hi,
I have used Kleborate-v2.0.0 during 2021 for one of my analysis project. I am stuck with interpretation part for few points:
a) Difference between ST2096 and ST2096-1LV. I could not find anything on ST2096-1LV on the Institute Pasteur MLST database. Could you explain whether this is a numbering that you provided or is this and accepted ST?
b) K locus - For samples KK16, KP13, KP3 - K locus is unidentified although Identification percentage range from 77 - 97%

Waiting for a positive response.
Thank you

Hi

You probably have a novel ST on your hands and the tool found the closest ST match, which was ST2096. Your isolates are have one locus difference compared to the ST2096 sequences. To get a specific ST number for your isolates, you should upload your sequences to Institute Pasteur BIGsdb and they will give you the ST.
