[FIX] GPU won't show up in UI settings

Describe the bug

The settings usual show the GPU, also the lower-right-corner during processing showed GPU instead of CPU.
Is the GPU not supported anymore in the desktop app?
Could this has something todo with using different power settings;
Hybrid (NVIDIA + Internal Graphics Chip) vs. only NVIDIA?

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior: Setup GPT4ALL UI on a notebook / try running any gpu model and see if the lower right corner shows GPU. Also check the settings if the option GPU is available.

Additional context

Some time back this feature, using the GPU in UI, had been working - I successful tested it but I am not able to reproduce the same result now. Thank you for any input related to this issue.
