There is such a problem, I support it, it saves mp3 only in English. |
The exported audio is in the language that the share dialog represents, Can you show me a screenshot of what you're trying and what errors are you getting? |
There is no error, but the problem is the same as with @gi0e5b06 above (Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS). |

When share russian text in mp3 we will have strange effect! Voice speech in like russian-english language! If share english text - it is OK. |
Too bad this issue could not be resolved. When looking for Ubuntu TTS, Glate pops up quickly as one of the best available. However, this function appears to the author as a secondary use case to the translation. Which is totally fine, I just wanted to point out that there are many people looking for a good tool to convert written text into mp3. Glate could also be that if this issue is resolved, on top of the translator. |
Snap Glate on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS: the audio is exported using an English voice, even if another language is selected.
