Steps to reproduce

Talk in chat. I think it might be cuz of velocity control using BETA chatcontrol

Having the same issue, on a fresh install using only the latest CC, VelocityControl and DiscordSRV, the receiver of a proxy chat channel message receives it both locally and via the proxy.

For my experience of this, I already have this disabled. The two messages, for me, show both the local message from the player in the same server, and the proxy message, which has the default server name prefix prior to that message, so it's (I believe) most certainly a CC/VC issue

I understand, it may be a problem with your SRV configuration. Do not use global and configure another channel. I have encountered this before.
