Thinking about hosting an event with Coffee and Code?

Hosting an event is a great way to meet other members and share your interests. If you're thinking about hosting an event, the first step is to join the group. Once you've done that, you can suggest an event by clicking the "suggest a new meetup" link on the group's home page. We'll review your suggestion and help you get it on the calendar.

Hosting an event involves:

  • Deciding on a date, time, and location
  • Finding at least one co-host
  • Planning to do your best to be there on time or a little early to set up
  • Welcoming people as they arrive

Things to consider when choosing a location:

  • Wheelchair accessibility
  • Parking
  • Wi-Fi
  • Ideally not 21+, but mention it in the event description if so

Does this sound like something you'd like to do? Please join the group and suggest an event. Thanks for helping make Coffee and Code a great place to meet other developers and learn new things! We look forward to meeting you and hearing about your ideas for events.
