As a user I want to be able to look at job stdout and stderr after a job has finished.
The squeue command could include the "starttime" output format field and a simple filter could be implemented with a prompt to the user to input a date and time in a common format, maybe even the --starttime option values of sacct.

Thanks, I tend to forget that you can use any old squeue options, thanks! While skimming the manpages I could not find an option for squeue to change that default, e.g. for showing all runs of today.
This scratches the most immediate itch, will leave this open for you to decide if you want the user interaction (filter) as sketched.
