_jupyterlab_services__WEBPACK_IMPORTED_MODULE_7__.Kernel.startNew is not a function

can't use @jupyterlab/services.
I want to use Binder server using @jupyterlab, and saw spacy docs.
When I tried Kernel.startNew(), error came up.

can somebody teach me how to connect binder kernel from nextjs front using jupyterlab?
