Status Update #35

Nothing Is Sacred is 100% picked. Oy that's a rough job. |
Aww... you sure there's no room for a @substack talk? jsfest/2014-oakland-cfp#81 |
@feross I'm at 5, which is already pushing it for 2 hours. I would definitely love to have substack and dominic but unless we can figure out a way to expand NIS it's full up 😦 |
I can take that talk for ONE-SHOT. |
@nvcexploder hey, any update on hapidays? it's the only event we don't have speakers booked for yet. |
@terinjokes i was in the venue yesterday thinking about Extensible Web Summit. I think that it will work if you have one kinda large guided unconf session. The ground floor level has a lot of couches and stuff, people will have to speak pretty loudly but it should work. |
Getting more stuff set up this week - have a few more proposals coming in On Thu, Oct 30, 2014 at 10:38 AM, Mikeal Rogers [email protected]

Have the initial talks selected |
@brycebaril tbh I think it's okay to not have substack and dominic, they are always heavily involved in everything so it's good to give others a chance. @mikeal I'm done with accepting talks for CSSConf, final selection and round of emails today/tomorrow :) |
substack is already speaking twice :) dominic is speaking at ONE-SHOT, I'm working out his flights now. |
Most of the talks for each event should be picked by the end of the week. AFAIK, DHTMLConf is the only event that has all of its speakers picked so far.
We also need to sell some more tickets, so any promotion we can do would be great.
Additionally, if you have speakers please get them registered in tito using the speaker tickets https://ti.to/jsfest/oakland?release_id=nqflw0il0qw
