How do projects work with repeating tasks

So I'm trying to have repeating tasks, lets say it's Monday and the repeating tasks inside of a project is for Tuesdays.

I just am unable to see that task in the project until it's Tuesday?
I can see it in the Repeat/Scheduled menu but I'm unable to change task settings like descriptions and such. They're not select-able.

Is this a bug or intended?

Also if I wanted to do my Tuesday repeating task early, how can I add it to Monday ?

Hey there! Repeating tasks are created once they are due for the project they were created for in the first place. You can edit the repeat settings but not more since the task is not yet created. For doing them early you would have to create a new task currently.
