You could try it on a test server with a copy or your Moodle production site first. That way you can see if it works and do full testing with the latest version of the plugin that's available. Then, if it works on the test server, you should be able to upgrade your production site. If you look at the stats on https://moodle.org/plugins/block_configurable_reports/stats and filter the graph down to the Moodle 4.x versions it seems like there are a lot of Moodle 4 sites already using Configurable Reports:
That implies that the latest version of Configurable Reports that's available in the Moodle Plugins directory and on GitHub, which is v3.9.0 (2020110300), does work with Moodle 4. So try it on your Moodle test server. |

If I download and install on my platform would there be any risk, or would I just not be able to install?
