I haven't given this much thought and don't know if it would be a good fit, but potentially integrating into the dream2nix framework could lead to some synergies down the road.

In #10 @jaen suggested it too.

I'm not sure about it, I'll wait until clj-nix is more stable. I also would like to see dream2nix gain more traction before committing to supporting its lock format.

Sorry, didn't see that. I can understand where you're coming from, but I think with dream2nix it's a bit of a chicken and egg problem. Currently only Nodejs and Rust are supported. For wider adoption it would probably help to have more ecosystems supported.
I feel Clojure would be a good candidate for dream2nix, since there is little established nix tooling for Clojure so far (e.g. compared to the python ecosystem).

I need to look in more detail to dream2nix. Honestly, I like its main proposition of having a 2nix standard, but I don't see how it can help me (as I said, I have to look in more detail)

In any case, I want to wait until clj-nix itself is more stable
