Screenshot of an empty desktop window

Hello Jim,

I tried to take a screenshot but this does not seem to work. I get a screen picture of something that looks like an empty desktop window, all of me opened windows actually on my screen are not within the scope or something.
There might be an easy step I am missing somewhere.
