Failing to convert epub to pdf with typst engine.

I am not sure if i am doing it the wrong way. With x.epub in current directory. I run

pandoc -f 'epub' -t 'pdf' -o 'x.pdf' --split-level=1 --pdf-engine=typst --standalone x.epub
error: file not found (searched at \\?\C:\Users\xxx\dir\Images\cover.jpg)
    ┌─ \\?\C:\Users\xxx\dir\toP5D8.html:133:11
    │

    │            ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Error producing PDF.

Relevant Info: I am using win11 with pandoc version:

How should i fix the problem?

It's hard to diagnose this without more detail. Can you upload a (redacted, simplified) version of the epub that suffices to reproduce the problem?
