Describe your use-case which is not covered by existing documentation.

When "make rpm" is used to create an RPM for testing, this rpm has the suffix "test" on the package name, directories, etc.

This in turn breaks external integration with jenkins that needs to be tested.

The README.md file needs to be updated to be clear how to turn the "test" suffix off.

Reference any relevant documentation, other materials or issues/pull requests that can be used for inspiration.

Per https://github.com/jenkinsci/packaging#generating-packages

At minimum, you have to specify the WAR variable that points to the war file to be packaged and a branding file (for licensing and package descriptions).

The package name is defined in a branding file, so while it doesn't explicitly state "or else you'll create jenkinstest", it mentions what you need to do to fix this.
