Trouble Finding Movies in TV Shows Libraries | Can't Manually Identify. #66

Best to give an example from my setup to explain the issue, I have a library called 'Anime', and it's marked in Jellyfin as a 'TV Shows' library-and I have two folders feeding into it. One is the folder with all the Anime TV Shows, the other is a folder with all Anime Movies (for example, Kizumonogatari, K-On! Movie, Spirited Away, Ghost in the Shell, etc.)

The issue I believe is that it will not search for movies, because the library is set as TV Shows. It would be inconvenient to have to have a separate library specifically for 'Anime Movies'.
If I try to manually identify any of the files, for example 'Ghost in the Shell', either nothing shows up, the box/art is missing, or more commonly only related series show up (in this case, series variants of Ghost in the Shell, not the movie).

And it usually detects one of the series by default, so per the above example, it links the movie file you have, to Episode 1 or 2 or something in an 'Unknown Series', within some related 'Ghost in the Shell' Series. So it essentially acts as a TV Show.

Also on a side-note, I find it takes forever to find results when manually identifying. Just lingers.

OS: Windows 10, x64
Jellyfin: 10.5.4
Anime Plugin: 8.0.0
Reverse Proxy: Caddy

Which provider are you using for the library ?
I've set mine up to only use AniDB and don't have any trouble with movies. I'm only using a single folder, but that shouldn't make much of a difference.
I don't think the content type has much impact on the detection side of things.

My server is down due to reasons, I can check in a week or two when it comes back up.
But I think I have all the Anime providers added, and have AniDB at the top.

Try disabling all providers except one. Makes it easier to troubleshoot and see which provider actually works (I think a few might be broken right now, see #85 and #86 )
