Accessing OctoPrint using the Access Point

I am trying to access the Octoprint Service while still in AP mode. I have installed Octoprint, then installed RaspiWifi, and I can connect to a wireless network and then access Octoprint, but I would like to be able to use the Octoprint service in Stand-Alone AP mode. I have tired accessing Octoprint using :5000 port or octopi.local, but none of these solutions has worked. Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way.
