ubuntu 24.10 does some autoreset, like it wait for "are you sure to leave it"

i used this $PATH set -LpM DP-1 -t normal -m [email protected] for simple right monitor config. It simply worked for a long time now and i often switch between double monitor and single monitor setup but now (update 24.10) it does the job like it should but after (guess) 10 seconds it resets to config before without outputting sth.

Sounds like a mutter issue. E.g. reacting to what might be a hotplug or something.
