When a threshold is set, how do we get the updated matrices? Where are they stored? How do I print them?

It is stored inside the Mask.matrix. It's a numpy.array. The current mask (the one being shown) is referenced inside the Slice. You can access all the mask in the project too. Other thing, the mask array is bigger than the image by one in each dimension, i.e.:

>>> print(slice.matrix.shape)
(100, 100, 100)
>>> print(mask.matrix.shape)
(101, 101, 101)

It's this way because we don't want to update the whole mask matrix when user changes the threshold. We use the first position in each dimension to store the information if the threshold in that mask slice was already updated.

Actually, mask.matrix and slice.matrix are numpy.memmap.

I have written the following code in the last in do_threshold_to_all_slices:

ls = self.current_mask.matrix.tolist()
print(np.shape(ls))

    f = open("matrix.txt", "w")
    f.write(str(ls))
    f.close()

will this save the new updated matrix values ?

what i want to do is:

add a custom preset with 2 ranges in the slider.
so that if I have the option to set ranges from 0-500 and 1000-1500

the range in the middle should not be in the resulting 3d Model

the shape of the matrix obtained from the above code is : (109, 257, 257) is this the right matrix?

If you don't need to do that using code you can create two different mask with different threshold then use the boolean operation union (menu tools -> Mask -> Boolean operations) to create a new mask with both thresholds.
