Thank you for your interest. The fMRI consists of two separate exams, one structural and other functional. The idea of having this tab (images) is that the user will be able to view the structural or functional exam or even the images after registration (structural + functional). Each imported exam or filtering / registration applied in original exam will be in this tab (images). So this task includes:

Hello @paulojamorim
I am Yathartha Rana, interested in the "Add Functional MRI support to Invesalius project. I am currently a 2nd year B.Tech undergraduate student from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. I have experience in Python, Machine learning, HTML, CSS, JS, SQL and C++.
I am very interested in this project because I have inclination towards medical field too. So I always think of utilizing technology in that field. I am passionate for it and I think this project would give me the opportunity to learn and grow, to dive deeper where the conjunction of medical and technology happens, while also contributing to the development of InVesalius.
I am eager to learn more, and I would appreciate your guidance throughout the project.
You have provided a contribution guide in the 'GSoC 2023 - News' discussion section that I am following to get started in this project.
I am little uncertain about what feature you are asking. For which I visited the resources provided, and there in github issues section, you said to incorporate the simultaneous visualisation of functional and structural MRI. However, the latter part "Add new images tab" I wasn't able to understand properly. Can you please provide guidance here, so I can start my work ASAP.
Thank you.
