Either build in local avatar support as part of our Indieweb h-card support, or recommend a local avatar plugin.

Many of the most popular local avatar plugins are not being actively developed and don't support new features. Anyone have an active or update to date implementation?

Anything you'd specifically need for this to happen? I'l be glad to incorporate necessary hooks etc. in Avatar Privacy.

@mundschenk-at Not specifically. The plugin list is a list of recommended plugins for Indieweb use. We don't have a local avatar option, but Semantic Linkbacks does store URLs for comment avatars. In that plugin, I know you offered a hook to cache URLs optionally in your system.
