This fixes the following issues:

  • Some devices don't support an option to change system language.

  • Changing the system language does not change the language used by the apps.

  • The OS does not have a language made available in it that an app has already been translated into.

Et cetera.

I don't own an Android 13 device nor can I afford one at the moment. By not taking this issue seriously you are allowing the app to be inaccessible to more people.

Can I see a picture of your language settings?

Which language is your Android missing?

Note that Conversations can't fix all your Android system bugs.

Android 13 or later is for "per-app" language selector, all Android 6 or later systems should have global language selectors of course, and Conversations will change the language as instructed.

This issue can be fixed like a bunch of others apps have on request w/o objection.

Esperanto is not an official Android language right?

Isn't it more useful to ask Google for inclusion instead of asking each and every app developer in the planet? ref: https://android-review.googlesource.com/c/platform/frameworks/base/+/1344220

Thank you for the resource.

That thread seems to be «abandoned» since August of 2021 but the required condition they mentioned (CLDR Locale Coverage in Basic Category) in the last comment has been fulfilled according to the latest data I could find: https://unicode.org/cldr/charts/44/supplemental/locale_coverage.html

I do not wish to register into any Google Services so I request you to do it on my behalf.
