Cannot launch I-Nex 7.6.0-0~bzr1026~20200124~ubuntu16.04.1 #96
Comments
the latest version of I-Nex is 7.6.1. |
Thanks eloaders,
I see on git hub the latest version is 7.6.1.
I got my latest version from Linux mint’s package manager which I believe is getting updates from ppa:i-nex-development-team/stable
I see most of the builds on this page as 7.6.0-0 …. -> https://launchpad.net/~i-nex-development-team/+archive/ubuntu/stable
I see that most packages were updated 2020-01-24. I’m not sure if these are actually 7.6.1 or 7.6.0, I’m not sure if the version label is indicative of the actual version.
This is what I see on your PPA page.
[cid:[email protected]]
Perhaps I should get the code from github instead?
If you can help clear this up for me I’d appreciate that.
Thanks
Dave

I have never described the release policy of the program version. We recommend using the daily repositories if there is a package for your distribution version in the repository at all. I would like i-nex to work everywhere, but resources do not allow me and I do not know if it will ever change. |
Thanks eloaders for your reply!
I’ll try using the daily repositories as a next step. If I still have issues I might try downloading the source from https://github.com/i-nex/I-Nex and attempt to build the source code.
I’m a bit of a linux newbie so sometimes I have struggles for tasks that are trivial for someone more experienced in linux.
I appreciate the responses.
Dave

What did that forum post say? It's dead now. I had to build from source, since the pkgbuild for it is completely gone from the aur as of right now and I'm getting the same error as OP. |
I recently got the update for i-Nex on Jan 24, 2020. It install without issue but will not launch. I get this error -> This application has raised an unexpected
error and must abort.
