The wiki page for hyprlock (wiki page) states the following:
Hyprlock does not automatically create a config, and without one, hyprlock will not render anything, meaning you will just see your screen, but it will be locked and require a password followed by an enter to unlock.
You can use the example config for a quick start, which can be found here.
However, this is no longer accurate. This should be updated.
Steps to reproduce:
- Remove config file
- Run
hyprlock (I have v0.8.2)
- See that Hyprlock renders the example config
