Regression?

Probably not a regression / I don't remember it happening before

Description

When Sober is opened in fullscreen, Sober stutters while trying to fullscreen, and then eventually crashes and floods the ram.

Note: I have already reported this bug to the Sober Developers, they suspect it may be a Hyprland issue. Fullscreen bugs for Sober has been reported to Hyprland in the past, so I apologise if this is an issue on Sober's end.

How to reproduce

  1. Download Sober from https://sober.vinegarhq.org/
  2. Allow Wayland socket with Flatseal or flatpak override --user --socket=wayland --nosocket=x11 org.vinegarhq.Sober
  3. Open Sober
  4. Fullscreen Sober with F11
  5. Close and Reopen Sober
  6. Sober glitches and crashes. (PS: Kill Sober so that it doesn't flood your ram)

afaik sober is closed source to prevent cheaters and therefore prevent sober as a whole being banned

but the sober developers have created open source applications in the past; doesn't mean that sober can't be sketchy but is worth taking into account

i use it because it's a better alternative than having to dualboot or use another device
