Description

When trying to type a search into Find Command in Studio One I end up running key bindings instead of the text going into the Find Command search field.

How to reproduce

In Studio One, run the Find Command with Ctrl+k and start typing. The typed text should go into the Find Command so it can filter it to a command, but it's like the Find Command window isn't even there so Studio One treats the keys as key bindings.

Attach not paste

  • I understand that all text files must be attached, and not pasted directly. If not respected, this issue will likely get closed as spam

Checklist of files to include below

  • Hyprland config - hyprctl systeminfo -c (always include)
  • Crash report (always include in case of crash)
  • Video (always include in case of a visual bug)
  • Logs (might contain useful info such as errors)

Additional info & File uploads

I reported this to the Studio One devs and they said:

Seems to work fine with KDE Plasma or Gnome. Trying Hyprland next...
Can reproduce on Hyprland.
As this is not reproducable with other compositors, this one has low priority though.
Not sure if this is an issue on our end or a general issue with keyboard focus in Hyprland.

Might be related to the Studio One Window Offset Issue on Hyprland, but probably not?
