Does 41.1 somehow feel "sluggish" in animations compared to 40.0 or is it just me?

A genuine question. Ever since 41.1 got released I've been noticing a bit of "sluggishness" in movement, especially when it comes to switching workspaces with various XWayland apps on them...

Essentially the transitions became less smooth after the upgrade to 41.1, not sure if this is caused by variable refresh rate being enabled or something else, but that's just how it is for me...
Some of the other oddities are the jitter on some of the apps, like wofi:

1. Appearing animation plays normally
2. The size of wofi's window starts to jitter for some reason?

Wanted to know if anyone else has had/noticed this oddity, since it very well might just be a "me" issue.

Note: I'm using NVidia DKMS and it might be an issue with it, but the behavior I described only started to appear after the upgrade to 41.1, so I'm not sure about that...
