Switching between apps instead of workspaces causes re-renders/layouting.

AMD 9950x3d, 5090, Hyprland 0.52 - same issue on all my machines

What's wrong?

Expected

A smooth, or instant transition.

A choppy, relayouting, flashing transition.

Steps

• close all apps
• open a terminal, full width mode
• launch chromium https://www.cnn.com or whichever
• switch back to terminal, run hyprctl dispatch focuswindow $(hyprctl clients -j | jq -r --arg p "chromium" '.[]|select((.class|test("\\b" + $p + "\\b";"i")) or (.title|test("\\b" + $p + "\\b";"i")))|.address' | head -n1)

and if you don't have any window rules switching workspaces here, you should see the bad behaviour.

I find that if you switch between workspaces, the behavior is good, if you switch between apps, the behavior is bad..

There is no good fix for this problem in general.
