I know you say quickshell is not affected, but I have had a nagging issue at certain scaling factors where quickshell will not anchor to the screen bounds. 1.25 scaling leaves a 1px gap around the entire shell. |

Hyprland version
Hyprland 0.52.1 built from branch v0.52.1 at commit 967c3c7 clean (version: bump to 0.52.1).
Regression
yes, i believe this worked 2 versions ago.
Describe the bug
hyprland doesn't seem to be applying fractional scaling outside it's own rendering, resulting in applications like
slurpgiving incorrect dimensions. additionally, notifications seem to be incorrectly scaledsee https://github.com/wya77/wya77/releases/download/files/2025-11-22.12-33-54.mp4
i had to upload it as a release due to the file being >10mb
Reproduction steps
slurp -dSystem info and config
