SEO for hyprland wiki

Hi there !

I'm a bit new to hyprland, and there is already something that I'm pretty surprised by.
Each time I want to go to the hyprland docs, I type "hyprland docs" in duckduckgo and ... I don't find it.

Seriously. You can try yourself, it does not appear in the 30 first results. Same thing on ecosia.
But it appears first on google search ! That's very strange.

It's the first time ever I encounter this problem. For all other open source projects I worked with before, duckduckgo or ecosia was able to find the doc in the 3 first results.

I even tried to search very explicitly for "wiki hypr land", and here is what I got:

The only correct link is the fifth result, and it's a redirection page.

After a bit of investigation, I still have no issue what might be going on there. It's probably not the .land extension, because other projects in .land have absolutely no issue. I was not able to make the hyprland docs appear a single time in duckduckgo or ecosia.
So this post is mostly a rant, unfortunately. I would really like to be able to solve this problem.

I got the first result in ecosia with the "wiki hypr land" keywords you've also used. In duckduckgo it seems to be the fourth result with those keywords, though "hyprland wiki" shows up as the first result. It's likely the word separation that causes issues. I'll check what can be done.

I get the same as you with the ecosia website, but not with the browser extension for firefox

Wait, there is a difference in url query:

works:

https://www.ecosia.org/search?method=index&q=wiki+hypr+land

do not work:

https://www.ecosia.org/search?q=wiki+hypr+land&addon=firefox&addonversion=6.2.0&method=topbar

that seems to be because of the &addonversion=6.2.0 part, that's very specific

That said, with duckduckgo it does not work, even with the right url:

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=hyprland+docs
