Cursor stuck on drag icon when moving between monitor with full screen app and other monitor with not full screen app

Weird behavior I started getting this week, only solutions are to either disable drag on border or not use full screen apps

Yup reproduced easily.

Hyprland 0.52.1 built from branch v0.52.1 at commit 967c3c7404d4fa00234e29c70df3e263386d2597 clean (version: bump to 0.52.1).

I am having this issue as well, but it is not only when one monitor has a full screen app. It seems it is just easier to trigger when one monitor has a fullscreen app open.

It's also not just the drag icon. My discord theme has a custom cursor and that gets carried over to my other monitor when it shouldn't. The cursor isn't resetting when moved across monitors.

Been happening for over a week now but thought it was only me having the issue.

This isn't fixed for me. All of the PR's to address this treat it as if it is only an issue for the resize cursor, but it isn't. It's an issue for all cursor states, and not just when moving across monitors. See here with the text-select cursor carrying over from vscode to kitty and even catching the resize cursor getting stuck all while on the same monitor:

I am using gpuscreenrecorder overlay to record this so it might be seen as fullscreen by hyprpanel. Not sure how that all works, but cursor states are just getting stuck in weird ways constantly. My cursor is actually just disappearing in some apps too which is really annoying.

Definitely not fixed. It isn't just a matter of the border resize cursor. Here, when I type on my terminal and the cursor changes accordingly, it gets stuck when moved to the other window, and vise-versa.

It's a different bug, the fixes in the PR that got merged are still necessary.

I've submitted another PR to try and address this one.
