systemctl reboot hangs, but uwsm stop does not

Howdy,
Upon trying to do systemctl reboot the timeout will occur for shutdown due to some user services.
This is likely the wrong repo but I have checked the following user services:

1. hyprshell
2. hyprpanel
3. hyprpaper
4. hypridle

and none of them are the cause of this issue, here is the most recent and probably telling output of journalctl --user -b-1 -r

I think it might be a uwsm itself problem but IDK. This only happens when updating from nixos-unstable to the newest nixos-unstable branch:

Updated input 'nixpkgs':

The newer one guarantees this issue to occur.
systemctl --user status gives this:
stats.txt

What is rather odd though is that doing uwsm stop then doing system shutdown/reboot does not hang and reach timeout.

I am posting here to see if others are recieving the same issue on hyprland git.

does using the latest uwsm version not have this problem?
nixpkgs version is one version behind

Could you post a log from a faulty shutdown? The one you provided seems to contain successful uwsm stop result all in a span of 14:15:18 timestamp. If some unit holds the shutdown process, it should be killed by systemd after a timeout (90 seconds default IRRC), which should be reflected in the logs.

There was a bug in [email protected] in 0.24.1 triggered if built with absolute paths, try upgrading to 0.24.2.

ah ok so i need to open a issue on nixpkgs as AFAIK uwsm doesnt provide a flake
