Cursor warp for newly opened window

To my knowledge, there is no option to make the cursor follow newly opened windows. This is a problem for the dwindle layout with force_split and the master layout. The default dwindle behavior (without force_split) also suffers from it when the cursor is not on top of any window.

This is not consistent with the default cursor warp behavior (no_warps = false). Any movefocus command warps the cursor to the newly focused window. Given that newly opened windows are also focused windows, the cursor and the focus become decoupled. Is this a deliberate design choice?
