This might be a cool feature, but I doubt it will be implemented, as a simple script does the trick. script.shYou need A couple of recommendations:

It would be useful to set submaps via windowrule matches.
Most immediate use case is Citrix where I have a submap that removes almost all hyprland bindings so that Windows can use the Super and other keys (Alt-Tab for example). This works very well, but requires remembering to switch in and out of the right submap. Still, a good solution as is. But associating the submap with a matching windowrule would allow this to be a smoother experience.
Semantics are a bit tricky - what do you switch back to when the windowrule ceases to match? Two suggestions:
It's not immediately clear what the best thing to do here is, which is not good.
