[Wine] Some Apps through Wine create another Black Window

Hello, In the past few months of using Hyprland, I have seen some apps running via wine create a black window alongside the main window.

The black window is not resizable, not tile-able, has the same window class as the main window and runs on the same process.

It does not happen in all apps, for example in Mp3Tag and Ableton it does not show up.

does it happen on e.g. sway or kwin? Sounds like a wine thing.

Also, have you tried wine in wayland only mode?

Have not tried kwin yet, but will now.

Tested wayland only mode and it changed the black window to a transparent windows with a black square inside of it.

@TheElevatedOne run xprop in the terminal and click on the black window. what does it output?

i've also been getting this issue, my best attempt at "fixing" this was launching the wine apps with WINEPREFIX=/home/MT/.wineprefixes/flwine DISPLAY= WINE_FULLSCREEN_VIDEO=1, which helped it for me. the black box still appears tho.
if anyone has an idea on this problem please tell

I'm also getting this on Hyprland 0.52.1 but not on Sway 1.11.
